Equally at home in both the classical and musical theatre repertoires, award winner Richard Shore has long been active as a performer and educator. He has appeared throughout the United States and in Europe. He has premiered new works on the concert and theatrical stages, and has worked with many well-known artists. His collaborators and former students have appeared on Broadway, at the Metropolitan Opera, as well as on concert, opera, and theatrical stages the world over. Having studied with such teachers as pianist/composer Thomas Stumpf, pianist Benjamin Pasternack, harpsichordist Mark Kroll, choral conductors Beverly Taylor, Anne Howard Jones, and Jameson Marvin, and vocalists Richard Cassilly and Mark Aliapoulios has uniquely prepared Richard for work in a wide range of styles and genres. Richard looks forward to continued pursuits as both a performer and educator.
